The project uses separate language pages and explicit coverage labels. It does not interleave Chinese and English paragraphs inside the same long-form guide.

Authority and scope

• The full Chinese field guide is the current authority for device-specific findings;
• the English guide is a human-edited concise edition, not a pretend line-by-line machine translation;
• if safety boundaries, commands, or platform claims conflict, prefer the newer page with stronger evidence and open an issue;
• the private research Wiki is not translated wholesale—only reviewed, redacted conclusions graduate into the public repository.

Synchronization rules

1. A change to authorization, device baseline, a command, or a success condition must evaluate the other language in the same PR;
2. wording-only and localization-only changes may affect one language;
3. English frontmatter records translation_of, translation_status, and source_updated;
4. ambiguous technical terms keep their established English form—capability, monitor mode, hook, boot image;
5. an untranslated figure must have target-language alt text or prose that carries its essential meaning.
